Impression Petteflet

Every branch of BORUS Kinderopvang is unique. This is also the case in Uithoorn on the Eendracht 15 -19 in Uithoorn. Here we offer both pre-school and after-school care. We can accommodate 6 groups with a maximum of 20 children each. The Petteflet is open from 7.15 am for pre-school care, for after school and during holidays, 52 weeks a year.

The Petteflet is located in the former school houses of RKBS De Springschans. There are three houses in which we have made the design suitable for the children of the Outside School Hours Care. Because we offer pre-school care, the children can be brought to us at 7.15 am. It offers the children the opportunity to wake up and have a relaxed breakfast. The breakfast consists of bread, toppings, milk, juice or tea. After breakfast, the children can make a puzzle or read a book. Around 8.10 am everyone will clean up, take their bags and will then go to their own classroom. The youngest children are brought to their classroom by the staff of BORUS and are then handed over to the teacher.

We also offer after-school childcare. After school, the children are welcomed with something to eat and drink. Attention is paid to the stories of the day. Then they can play freely or they can participate in the activities that have been created around a theme. The Petteflet has its own rooms where the themes can be explored on aspects such as Multi media, Nature, Expression, Nature and Technology. This allows the children to be creative in the appropriate space.

The school houses are adjacent to the playground of both RKBS De Springschans and OBS De Kajuit. The location, collaborations and pedagogy of BORUS childcare The Petteflet makes it very convenient for the parents of these schools to choose for childcare at BORUS. The collaboration with De Springschans is very pleasant and professional. Because of the many years of experience we have with each other, we can rely on each other and we know what we expect from each other. The huge outdoor area of De Springschans may be used by The Petteflet during daytime, which gives the children a lot of play opportunities.
Behind The Petteflet is a large area with a skateboard field, football field, table tennis table and a natural playground where the older children can play under supervision and where they can go on an adventure. When the weather is bad, the children can lose their energy in the gym of De Springschans or in a games room. They can play table tennis, table football, shuffleboard and other games. To conclude, it is a wonderful place to stay before school and/ or after school.
